Athena over UART
https://project-athens.com/wiki/helpful/uartRecovery

Starts Athena from the memory of an MT7981 router over UART and opens its web
interface at 192.168.1.1. Nothing is written to the flash memory by itself.

  start.bat Windows: run it
start.sh macOS, Linux: sh start.sh in the Terminal

The scripts ask the model of the router, find the USB-UART adapter and run
mtk_uartboot with the BL2 and the Athena of the model:

Athena_UART.bin Athena for UART, opens the web interface at every start
Athena_UART_RE3000.bin the same for Cudy RE3000
Athena_UART_TR3000.bin the same for Cudy TR3000
  bl2-mt7981-bga-ddr4-ram.bin BL2 for CMCC RAX3000M, CMCC XR30, Cudy WR3000P
bl2-mt7981-bga-ddr3-ram.bin BL2 for the other routers
  mtk_uartboot.exe Windows
  mtk_uartboot-macos-arm64 macOS on Apple silicon
  mtk_uartboot-macos-x86_64 macOS on Intel
  mtk_uartboot-linux Linux

  .\mtk_uartboot.exe -s COM4 -p bl2-mt7981-bga-ddr3-ram.bin --aarch64 -f Athena_UART.bin
